Yayayayay! Spring is right around the corner! And I can hardly wait!
Two months of the year down...how have you been doing with your memory-keeping?
So far, so pretty good here. I'm sure I could be doing a better job - but any amount is better than none, right?
One choice I made this year that has really helped keep me up-to-date is using my Heidi Swapp Memory Planner for our day-to-day documenting. It's just small enough that I don't feel overwhelmed, but big enough to record our daily activities - photos and all!
How about a look at last month's pages?
We don't lead a super-crazy-busy-adventurous lifestyle...especially in the winter...so February's pages were mostly about documenting special moments and events.
I usually start by printing the week's photos from my phone using my Canon Selphy or Fuji Instax Printers.
I'll add those to their respective days and then do a little journaling...
...again - these winter days aren't all that exciting...so just a comment or two about the photo is enough for now.
Every so often I have blank spaces in my weeks. Here's where I'll add quotes I love (usually screenshot from IG or FB)...or stickers...
After I've journaled a bit, I'll go back and add embellishments and sometimes colored pencils or pens...
I try not to worry if my pages aren't completely filled. I'm concerned mainly with getting the memories documented...
Once the journaling is done I'll dip into my little basket of stickers, washi tape, alphas and bits & pieces and embellish my pages a bit...
As my weeks fill up in my Planner, I'll transfer them over to Heidi's 3" Storage Binder. This is the PERFECT place to keep all of our monthly memories permanently...and they look so super cute on my shelf...
So that's it! That's February!
I can't wait to get started on March...
Thanks so much for stopping by to see!
