Microsoft revealed a lot of exciting news about their upcoming operating system at its Windows 10 unveil event. From the looks of it, Windows 10 will undoubtedly be a game changing operating system for the next generation of computers.

Here are some of the most exciting stuff from the Microsoft event.

It’s Absolutely FREE!

Of all the great features, this is probably the coolest and most surprising news we hear from Microsoft. Yes, you read that right. Microsoft has decided to roll out Windows 10 as a free upgrade for all current Windows 7, Windows 8.1, and Windows Phone 8.1 users. Given you upgrade within a year after the Windows 10 release.

Start Menu is Back!

After losing focus with Windows 8 and its confusing user interface, Microsoft has finally come back to basics with the new Windows 10. The good old Start Menu has returned to its original place with a beautiful transparent design.

Personal Digital Assistant for PC

With Windows 10, users will get to have their own personal digital assistant – Microsoft’s Cortana, which will learn your preferences to provide relevant recommendations, remind you of important events and do much more.

Brand New Browser

Say good bye to the annoying old Internet Explorer. Microsoft officially unveiled the all new web browser for Windows 10, code named “Project Spartan,” which has been built with “greater interoperability, reliability and discoverability, and a new look and feel.”

Stream Xbox Games to PC

Great news for Xbox gamers. With Windows 10, you will be able to stream games from Xbox One consoles and play them on their PC or even Windows 10 tablets.
