There are a lot of sweets and desserts that look good yet they are very unhealthy to eat.
Ocasionally, when I go out on my break, I get tempted by scrumptious looking desserts that are neatly displayed on their bakery shelves.
A look at the nutrition facts/ingredient label is enough to bring me back down to my senses.
Even if the product is vegan if those contents are not up to par with healthy doses of preparation, I will not touch it!
Most desserts on the market are badly manufactured, filled with large amounts of unhealthy fats, added sugars, and artificial flavorings.
I have bitten down on some sweet desserts that are just too sweet to eat. All I tasted was a load of unnecessary sugar. It was disgusting, such a turn off.
Some sweets may have health advertisements promoted on their label, yet the item will still have other less desirable ingredients lurking inside to cause harm.
I used to love danishes. I have not had one of them in over twenty years. I loved cinnamon buns, crumb cake, coffee cake, pound cakes, and blue berry muffins. I have not had any of them in years either.
When I put my mind not to do something I stay with it.
I don’t really crave the majority of those junk foods anyhow. It is when I see a croissant, corn muffin, or cake that I may get nostalgic, but the idea will quickly fade.
I do not really consider corn muffins junk food, though. I love me some cornbread. It is all within how the food is prepared.
However, I will eat an oatmeal, peanut butter, ginger snap, or lemon cookie if they are healthily made with proper care.
A solution to anyone wanting to sparingly eat healthier sweets and desserts is to simply bake their own!
