Cumin Crusted Sea Bass
Another great recipe for seafood lovers. I think I have gone nuts, I have more seafood dishes than any other dishes. I don’t know why or how or when I stared loving seafood but I must have at least one seafood dish a day. Now I know this sounds really crazy but it’s just me. Got ya! I love seafood but not to that extent. Any ways guess that didn`t really sounded a good beginning of my paragraph, but you can definitely trust me when I say this cumin crusted sea bass recipe is heavenly. You`ll be doing your palettes a favours in having this recipe. Now if you don`t like me you`ll can always message me and send it to me, I`ll have it. But try this cumin crusted sea bass recipe and try to tell me what you think about it. I would say this seafood meal is a perfect example of your otherwise healthy lunch ideas.
Ingredients
- 1 Tbsp. cumin seeds
- 1/2 tsp. kosher salt
- 1/4 tsp. freshly ground black pepper
- 1 lb. sea bass fillets, skinned and cut into 4 pieces
- 1/2 Tbsp. olive oil
- 1-1/2 Tbsp. chopped fresh parsley
- Lemon or lime wedges
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.
- In a dry skillet, toast cumin seeds over medium heat, stirring, until fragrant, 2 to 4 minutes.
- Transfer to a bowl to cool.
- With a spice grinder or mortar and pestle, grind cumin seeds, salt and pepper into a fine powder.
- Rub spice mixture on both sides of bass.
- In a large oven proof skillet, heat oil over medium-high heat.
- Add bass and cook until browned, 2 to 3 minutes per side.
- Transfer skillet to oven and bake until fish is opaque in the center, 3 to 7 minutes.
- Sprinkle with parsley and serve immediately, with lemon or lime wedges.
