Boy, do I love red carpet season! It's a chance to see my favorite actors and actress in their finest glory, often wearing the creme de la creme of runway and couture creations. And looking at who is nominated this year, Jessica Chastain, Anne Hathaway, Marion Cotillard, I promise there'll be some major red carpet moments.
So in anticipation of the Golden Globes tonight, I wanted to first showcase my favorite looks from Thursday's Critics' Choice Awards. While the People's Choice Awards were generally disappointing, this night was a red carpet dream. One which saw actresses shine in glorious shades of blue, from Emmy's midnight creation and Nina's rich aqua, and in light creams, like Anne Hathaway simple, yet stunning crystal-encrusted beige column.
It was also lovely to see Marion Cotillard step away from Dior (for just a moment I hope) to wear the perfect 1950s-esque Zuhair Murad floral embroidered cocktail dress. Like Erdem, Mr. Murad has a way of doing florals, so modern and enigmatic...
To keep up all of the glorious red carpet looks this season, we'll be updating our On the Red Carpet... photo album quite often with our favorite looks from the Golden Globes to the Baftas.
Now, off to the Globes!
