Last week, residents living in Xinmeizhou, China found something strange happen to the river that flows by their village. Usually this river has been very clean and with clear water, even drinkable. But on last Thursday, the river has mysteriously turned red with a weird smell, within just an hour.

Researchers are already trying to figure out what happened here, one of them thinks that some sort of dye that had been dumped in the river has caused this. Although, according to locals, there are no factories near by the village that dumps waste in the water.
