Kids generally hate spinach or anything green! Now you can make spinach their favorite food – with our delicious creamy spinach soup for toddlers! Soups are not only appetizers but also super healthy. Spinach soup is a great way to get the nutritious benefits of spinach while keeping it tasty as well. Spinach is good for eye health and it’s rich in vitamins A, C and K, magnesium and iron . Spinach is an energy giving food which provides stamina to the growing babies. Adding cream on the top lends more flavor and richness to the dish. Even if your baby is not a Popeye fan, this recipe will make them to love spinach. Creamy spinach soup for toddlers can be made with simple ingredients and also surprisingly quick.Creamy Spinach Soup for Toddlers
Ingredients
- Blanched and pureed spinach- 4 tbsp
- Grated garlic- 1 clove (you can skip if your toddler doesn’t like the taste)
- Wheat flour- 1 tbsp
- Milk- one and a half cup
- Black pepper powder- a pinch
- Butter- 1 tbsp
- Fresh cream- 2 tbsp
- Salt to taste (1+ year old & Optional)
Method
1. Take butter in a non-stick pan and heat it.
This recipe can also be made for babies. But while making for babies the ingredients milk and salt has to be avoided.

Creamy Spinach Soup for toddlers- Blanched and pureed spinach- 4 tbsp

- Milk- one and a half cup
- Black pepper powder- a pinch
- Butter- 1 tbsp
- Fresh cream- 2 tbsp
- Salt to taste
- Take butter in a non-stick pan and heat it.
- Then add garlic and sauté a little.
- Add wheat flour and sauté well for 2 minutes. Add milk and keep stirring so as to avoid any lumps.
- Let the milk come to a boil and add black pepper after lowering the heat.
- Stir in the spinach puree and let the mixture cook for 2-3 minutes. Keep stirring.
- Add salt, mix well and remove the pan from heat.
- Take out the soup in a bowl and add fresh cream.
- Serve it warm to your little one.
