As soon as I was browsing through the papers + embellishments, I instantly knew that I have create a layout with these photos I've snapped of my girl + her fur-brothers. I printed 2 of the same photo, one in color & one in black and white. That will create a very interesting look among all the cute elements.
To begin, I chose 3 patterned papers that I wanted to use on my layout. By layering patterned papers, it will certainly give a great look to your design. Then, I decided to tone down the colourful paper that's right in front with a piece of vellum paper so the colours won't scream too much of attention against all the colourful embellishments. Next, I worked on the composition of my photos and the ephemera pieces. Once I'm happy with the composition, I continue to add more stickers and ephemera pieces to fill the gap so it would looked balance. Finally I complete the layout with stamping arrows & machine stitching all around the layout.
