Crate Paper Design Team : Paper Flowers

I was pretty excited when I found out that I was assigned for this week's project theme - "Craft with Kids"! I knew that my eldest daughter would love to have crafty time with me. She always does! A few days before we started this together, I spoke to her that we would do something fun. We actually briefly discussed what we should do. We decided to create colorful paper flowers. That would be perfect as our craft time together!

First, we picked up a fringed flower die. And with the help of an electric die-cutting machine, our tasks were pretty smooth and fast too.  Once the cuttings were done, we assembled from the biggest piece at the bottom and followed by the medium and smallest at the top. Then, she used a cute flower brad to secure all the pieces together. 

Next, she fluffed up the fringed petals by pushing them upwards. She really had so much fun!
These are how the flowers will look like! Aren't they pretty? I love the eclectic & whimsical look. To complete the paper flowers, we die cut leaves and attached sticks at the back of the flowers. My daughter just loved the end result and she asked if she could give these flowers to her classmates as gifts. She'll include a note at the back of the leaves. She's the sweetest! Love her proud face too!These paper flowers sure have alot of potential,  you can use them as cake topper, banner, bookmark, part of embellishment for handmade cards or smaller projects, etc. Simple to create and fast to complete! Perfect for kids.
