For the next few weeks I’ll be sharing the three DIYs we did at the H&M DIY lounge! Sunglasses with flowers are so summer suitable, depending if you have to confidence to wear them! I think they’d look great if you want to dress to impress at a music festival or a fun beach party… They sure are a conversation starter. If you want to be even flashier with them why not try doing a whole line of flowers across the top of the frame? I do love the pink frames above and the corner flowers!
The DIY
1. You will need : Sunglasses, flower beads (you can make them with fimo or buy some here), and super glue.
2. Glue the back of the bead and place it on the frames of the sunglasses. Hold the bead in place for approximately 30 seconds.
If you don’t want to throw caution to the wind :
- Don’t let the bead slip as you risk smearing your sunnies with glue.
-
If you steam up your frames with super glue, wash them with nail varnish remover and rinse thoroughly.
And voilà! A swanky freshened up pair of DIY flower embellished sunglasses, and it only took 5 minutes.
Take care,
