The Ceylon Petroleum Corporation (CPC) has announced adjustments to fuel prices, effective from midnight on the 30th.
As per the update, the price of Petrol 92 Octane has been reduced by Rs. 2, bringing it to Rs. 309 per liter. Meanwhile, the cost of Kerosene has gone up by Rs. 5, now priced at Rs. 188 per liter.
However, the rates for Petrol 95 Octane and Super Diesel remain unchanged, according to CPC.
The updated fuel prices are as follows:
- Petrol 92 Octane: Rs. 309 (decreased by Rs. 2)
- Auto Diesel: Rs. 286 (increased by Rs. 3)
- Kerosene: Rs. 188 (increased by Rs. 5)
- Petrol 95 Octane: Rs. 371 (no change)
- Super Diesel: Rs. 313 (no change)
In response, the Lanka Indian Oil Corporation (LIOC) has also opted to revise its fuel rates to align with those of the state-owned oil company.
