If you follow me over on my IG stories, then you saw how I came up with our family Christmas card photo outfits in one hour flat. Yes, this momma knows how to shop and shop fast for that matter! With only two stops, I was able to grab pieces for both my kids, the hubby, and myself to add to what we already had in our wardrobe. I can't wait to share those photos with you (full blog post coming soon), but in the meantime I wanted to share what I wore. Here is the look I tossed together to match with my family this day. (What...this old thing?) ;)
SHOP THE LOOK:
I love the idea of pairing a tutu type bottom with a big cozy knit. This outfit is most likely what I'll be wearing this Christmas Eve, as it's super cozy and has lots of space for eating. I love the color of this sweater, the beautiful ruffle and eyelet details, but what I love most is how soft this beauty is. As in, it's probably my most comfortable knit I own. It comes in cream too and I'm pretty sure I'll be picking it up once all the cyber Monday sales start.
To finish the look off, I added bow toe heels and a red lip. In the end it felt holiday festive, but the photos also can be framed (or put on canvases for that matter) and not seem too holiday. I mean, last year we stood in front of a vintage red truck and there were wreaths and all, it was very Christmas. I did blow-up a few prints that are hung around my home, but they do have a very holiday look to them. I was happy to mix it up a bit this year!
