Courtney J. is the designer and CEO of CourtneyMADE. She hand makes and designs all of the men’s and women’s pieces that you see in the collection. CourtneyMADE started in the summer of 2010 under another name, which she recently changed to better suit the meaning of the brand.Courtney was born in the Bronx and later re-locating to Teaneck,NJ, where she resides now. She has graduated from Wood Tobe Coburn School in Manhattan with an associate degree in Fashion Marketing, Merchandising and Management and strives everyday to expand and grow her brand.
CourtneyMADE is a company that uses the ideas and designs of the CEO, Courtney J. She created the brand to target jewelry for men and women by bringing originality to the forefront. “Being fashionable means expressing yourself by any means nessecary” states Courtney in a radio interview early this year. She wants all who wear her pieces to feel like trendsetters and fashionistas, be the leader not the follower; the motto that CourtneyMADE lives by. (Her’s men’s collection is called FREEDOM OF SPEECH and will be launched for Fall 2012.)
