“Inch of Rope” is alternative rock band Courrier’s newest single from the recently released album Cathedrals of Color. The Austin, TX native’s harmonious voices are rich enough to make an acceptable a cappella career possible (and actually enjoyable.) Thankfully the band includes a dreamlike sound scape in songs like “Inch of Rope,” with many a guitar riff and an intricate drum beat that will reverberate in your thoughts long after you stop listening. Their aesthetic sound and compelling lyric quality creates a combination that is hard not to obsess over.
