Coronavirus Wreaks Havoc in Market, Sensex and Nifty Falls Heavily

The havoc of the corona virus was evident in early trade on Friday from the global market to the domestic stock market. Sensex and Nifty have started with a big decline. Mid and smallcap stocks are also seen selling heavily.

BSE Midcap index is trading at 1.85 percent and Smallcap index is down by 1.10 percent. Oil-gas stocks are trading with weakness. The BSE oil and gas index is trading at a weakness of 3.5 percent.

There is an all-round selling in early trade. Bank Nifty is seen around 27,578.40, losing 4.29 percent. The Nifty Auto Index has 2.97 percent, Financial Services Index 3.64 percent, FMCG Index 1.60 percent, IT Index 1.90 percent, Media Index 4.5 percent, Metal Index 4.2 percent, Pharma Index 2.2 percent and Realty Index 3.7 percent. The decline is visible.

The Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) 31-share sensitive index Sensex fell 1066.64 points, or 2.77 per cent, to 37,403.97, and the National Stock Exchange (NSE) 50-share index Nifty was down 322.30, or 2.87 per cent, to 10,946.70, doing business around.
