Coolpad Cool S has been revealed in Nepal as a new mid-range smartphone from the Chinese smartphone maker. The smartphone comes with a punch-hole LCD display, a quad rear camera setup, a big 5000mah battery, and a MediaTek octa-core chipset.

Coolpad Cool S features a 6.53 inches IPS LCD display with Full-HD+ ( 1080 x 2400 pixels ) resolution. Under the hood, the smartphone is powered by the MediaTek Helio P60 octa-core chipset that was revealed in early 2018 and is quite old. The device is running on Android 10 with Coolpad custom skin on top. It is accompanied by 4GB of RAM and 128GB of storage that can be extended up to 256GB by a MicroSD card slot.
In terms of Camera, the smartphone boasts a rectangular shaped camera module hosting L-shaped quad camera setup and a dual tone LED flash. The camera setup includes a 48-megapixel primary sensor, an 8-megapixel ultrawide lens with 120-degree FoV ( Field of View ), a 5-megapixel macro sensor, and a 0.3-megapixel additional lens. For selfies, the phone has a 25-megapixel front facing camera under the punch-hole on the top left corner.
The device comes equipped with 5000mah battery and a 10W charging support. For connectivity, the smartphone includes 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, dual-SIM, a USB Type-C port, and a 3.5mm audio jack. The phone has volume rockers on the right side while a dedicated side-mounted fingerprint sensor on the left side of the phone that is quite odd.

Coolpad Cool S comes in a solo configuration of 4GB + 128GB for NPR 22,595 in Nepal ( Rs. 14,100 approx ) and the company offers the smartphone in three color options namely Lapis Blue, Night Black, and Moon White. The company hasn’t said anything about the availability of the smartphone in India.
