It shows that the public's opinion of Congress is higher than it has been in the last 11 years. The job approval rating for Congress is currently 31%. It hasn't been that high since 2009 -- the last time Democrats controlled both houses of Congress.
About 39% of Democrats approve of the job Congress is doing, while 32% of Independents approve and 24% of Republicans approve.
