Story: Confess Fletch starts when freelance journalist Fletch (Hamm) returns to his rented home only to find a dead body in the basement. Meanwhile, Fletch needs to continue with his art deal with his lover Angela (Izzo) to save her father.

Fletch looks to solve the crime, all while having Inspector Monroe (Wood Jr) following his actions. However, things start getting more complicated as Fletch starts to figure out details about the murder.

Verdict on Confess Fletch

Confess Fletch is a crime comedy following a man who is the prime suspect in a murder trying to solve the crime. It sees him trying to finish off his criminal activity while remaining out of jail. Although not everything goes as smoothly as he wishes.

This is an entertaining little comedy and is filled with the quirky nature of the mystery unfolding. It gets to keep us guessing as to who was behind the murder and introduces us to plenty of potential suspects. Jon Hamm is excellent, his charm and charisma keep us completely engaged in his character’s actions throughout the movie.

Final Thoughts Confess Fletch is a fun crime comedy.
