Complete Spending Breakdown in China, Taiwan, and Indonesia

By Livingthedreamrtw @livingdreamrtw

Finishing off my Asia segment turned out to be more pricey than I'd like. As you know, when you travel fast, it will cost more money. I had to take taxis more frequently, to learn the ropes of each country as quickly as possible. Despite the fast pace, I had a good time checking off each wonder of nature and the world during these last two weeks.

Indonesia is just plain ridiculous! There is so much corruption and scams that you really need to be on your A-game when it comes to bargaining with touts. Often times they try to increase the price by a ten-fold. I took the same route from my accommodation to the airport, and paid a different price each time.

The lesson learned is to in order to save money, travel slow! However, if you are short on time, then don't hesitate to speed up a little to go to those must-see places in the world. Seeing them is better than not, and the money spent can be made again.
