Colored Pants Outfits for Work

Keeping a work wardrobe interesting can be harder than keeping a marriage interesting. While that may be a hyperbolic statement, with all the demands that can come with a job, who has the time to figure it out? This is why I always like to use this blogging platform to offer new ideas and to share fresh concepts on putting outfits together.

Colored Pants Outfits for Work

If you have grown tired of wearing the same neutral colored pants for work but are fearful of stepping out with some colorful styles, I have put five looks together to give you some ideas.

Outfit #1

In this first look, I styled these rust colored pants from Anine Bing with a Veronica Beard blazer. I layered a Theory short sleeve sweater under the blazer and finished the look with sand colored flats and charm mini hoop earrings from Madewell.

Outfit #2

I styled these spruce colored tie-waist pants from Akris Punto with an ivory cropped jacket from Hobbs, a printed top from Halogen, navy platform mule from Prada and silver bar necklace from Gorjana.

Outfit #3

I styled these deep rose pants from Seventy with a blush blazer from L’Agence and layered a burgundy top underneath it. I finished the look with a pair of beige block heel slingbacks and Panacea crystal hoop earrings in burgundy.

Outfit #4

Working tonally in this look, one of the easiest ways to wear colored pants is to pair it with a neutral shade. Imagine it like turning the outfit upside down with the neutral on top and the color on the bottom. I styled these cobalt Rebecca Taylor pants with a navy top from The Fold and finished the outfit with notched V beige pumps from Vince Camuto and silver station necklace.

Outfit #5

This last look makes a bold statement with these hot pink colored pants from Smythe that I styled with a contrast lapel smoking jacket. I layered a white Nic + Zoe tank under the blazer and navy shooties.

Break out of your boring pants rut by switching it up with colored pants.
