Cold Bath Fields EC1
Location: Clerkenwell

Named for a famously grim prison, which in turn took its name from a nearby well from the late 17th century. The Cato Street conspirators, a group who tried to murder the PM Lord Liverpool and all the cabinet in 1820 were held here before transfer to The Tower.
