Cocktail Recipe: Smoking Gun by The Adamson, St Andrews

To celebrate their wins this year as Scotland’s 2015 ‘CIS Restaurant of the Year’,  ‘Best Restaurant Experience’ at the Scottish Thistle Awards Fife & Tayside Regional Final,  and ‘Highly Commended’ at this year’s SLTN awards. The Adamson in St Andrews have created a limited edition cocktail called The Smoking Gong to celebrate.

Print Yum Cocktail Recipe: Smoking Gun by The Adamson, St Andrews

Ingredients

  • 60ml Talisker
  • 25ml lemon juice
  • 10ml sugar syrup
  • 2 drops angostura bitter
  • 1 egg white

Instructions

  1. Put all the ingredients into a cocktail shaker.
  2. Shake vigorously in a Boston with ice and then shaken a second time without ice.
  3. Double strain the into the chilled rocks glass, with a lemon twist and cherry on a stick.
  4. Please the cocktail in the large glass jar and add smoke with the smoking gun.
