Coast: The Surf, Ride, Skate and Coffee Shop

By Threadandbutter @threadandbutter
After what seemed like a lifetime, Darren and I finally managed to get the same day off which of course was filled with one thing, lots and lots of food and drink. After a well deserved relax and chocolate crepes for breakfast, we spruced ourselves up (I opted for a smokey eye so I obviously meant business) and headed out in the car towards Poole. Despite the journey only taking us around 30 minutes we squeezed in a quick pit stop at Home Sense and I magically left empty handed but with a rumbling tummy.
After hearing recommendations and Darren lusting to visit to check out their skateboard selection we decided to go and find Coast, a family run cafe and store serving fresh coffee and local produce combined with a select range of surf, skate and bike products.
We began by checking out the delights on offer in the shop and I was definitely not disappointed. Usually I find skateboarding shops only ever have a really limited selection for us gals, however it is safe to say I was coveting over the majority of pieces including these amazing round beach towels from The Beach People which have 100% made it to the top of my wishlist.
After we finished browsing the shop we sat down in the adjoining cafe and enjoyed smoothies and huge homemade sandwiches whilst we flicked through a copy of National Geographic. It was incredibly refreshing to find somewhere new that seemed to tick all of the boxes. Mid sarnie I even claimed it to be my new favorite place
Next in my diary is the North to Noosa screening event taking place at Coast on May 1st which showcases the surf/moto adventure of three surfers as they travel from Syndey to Noosa.
