CNBC reports that content on a site designed to provide advice to McDonald’s employees “bashes fast food.”
From the article:
“Another post labels a meal with a cheeseburger and fries as the ‘unhealthy choice’ and one with a submarine sandwich and salad as the ‘healthier choice,’ noting that it’s more of a challenge to eat healthy when visiting a fast-food place.”
3 Questions That Arise From This Story
1. Since when is eating healthier food a challenge at a fast-food place? The only challenges we know are how can we buy the right amount of french fries to get the Monopoly Park Place game piece to hopefully win more fast food or enough money to buy more fast food.
2. “So you are saying that employees of a fast food restaurant should use their skills to chop up a cheeseburger and fries to bury them in a salad, to make the meal healthier?” We’re guessing that is not what was being suggested, but for clarification, 3-dimensional Google street view pictures of the salad should be posted in the future, to ascertain whether cheeseburgers are buried at the bottom of the bowl.
3. Which is more of a challenge: learning about eating food that is better for your health from a fast food site, or enrolling in health care on a web site? That really depends on which site you visit. Especially if you visit a site offering a Bronze Colonel’s Chicken Deluxe Health Plan.
