The contour diaper I will be reviewing is the Kissaluvs Hybrid One Size Contour Diaper
- One Size (their website states 7-35 pounds)
- Sewn in microfiber soaker
- Elastic in legs to prevent leaking
- No closure system (use pins, snappi, or snug cover)
- Made of cotton fleece
Cost of the Diaper
The Kissaluvs Hybrid One Size Contour Diaper costs $12.95 on their website. For twenty one diapers (which will get you through approximately three days between washes for a non-newborn) the whole system will cost $271.95.
***This diaper requires a cover, which cannot be figured into the total here because of the wide variety of cover options. Consider this when planning to use this diaper.***
Mama J's Review of the Kissaluvs Marvels One Size Fitted
I bought this diaper for nighttime use because it was super soft and looked absorbent. After washing it a couple of times, the diaper wasn't as soft so I didn't use it because I was disappointed. I just recently took it back out to try it again. I really like it! It is really absorbent and survived a massive blowout. The poop almost leaked out the top, where there is no elastic, but it didn't. I was impressed and will be adding this diaper back into my rotation, especially under wool. I won't be using it at night, however. It doesn't leak, but it does seem like it keeps Baby J's skin a little wetter than I am comfortable with.
Pros
- One Size
- Elastic in leg area prevents leaking
- Made in USA
- Absorbent
- Size easily adjusted (just fold down!)
- Great under a wool cover
- After a few washes the diaper seemed "crunchy"
- Possibility for leaking out the back
Daddy J's Review of the Kissaluvs Marvels One Size Fitted
***Daddy J doesn't use this diaper because he prefers the "simpler" diapers. He would use it if he had to, but I would probably have to help him. He doesn't like snappis, so that would not be an option for him. I think this diaper is fairly easy to use, but if you have an easier diaper, the dads will be reaching for it.***
This is Baby J in the diaper. From left to right: under a wool cover, back, and front.
