The closing date for accepting applications for the recruitment of new students for National Colleges of Education (NCE) has been extended to August 19 by the Education Department.
New students are recruited for the Colleges of Education based on the results of the Advanced Level Examination 2021.
The last date for accepting applications has been extended as a large number of students, who appeared in the Advanced Level Examination have expressed that they did not get an opportunity to apply for diploma courses of Colleges of Education.
Meanwhile, the Education Ministry has decided to further implement the interest-free student loan scheme introduced for AAdvanced Level students.
