As part of the MKB support for the ladies making their first attempt at clean eating, I will share snacks, meals or treats I make or recommend. An important aspect of clean eating for me is finding good snacks that also fall under clean foods. Yes, fruits and veggies are easy snacks but sometimes you want more!
This morning I made little salmon bites. I thinly sliced a few pieces of salmon, squeezed one lemon on the salmon and lightly seasoned with salt and red pepper. Quick, easy and delicious. I considered the 100 calorie snack packs that are advertised and decided to make each bag 100 calories. (2 ounces is surprisingly satisfying!) Not only is it a great snack but the salmon can also be used in other meals like a salad or in eggs for breakfast! Enjoy! xoxo – Kellie
