Just back from a South American tour and excited to be in their home town of Brooklyn, Clap Your Hands Say Yeah (@cyhsyband) played a full set of old and new tracks at Brooklyn Bowl last night. Never having seen them live before, I was great to hear that singer Alec Ounsworth was able to replicate the thrashy and cracky vocals found on their records perfectly in the live setting. The band recently teamed up with BitTorrent and gave away three songs from their 2011 album Hysterical as well as an unreleased b-side. Snag those here and check out my photos from last night below.
