Cinnamon Bran Bread Recipe
I thought I’d try something a little different so I whipped up this Cinnamon Bran Bread recipe one morning.Would you believe our four year old was so in love with it that he specifically asked for the Cinnamon Bran Bread again as part of his morning snack?
This recipe for Cinnamon Bran Bread is old fashioned, wholesome, and pretty good with a pat of honey butter!
Cinnamon Bran Bread Recipe

Yield: 1 Loaf
I omitted the nuts and raisins.
From Hodgson Mill Wheat Bran box.
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 Cups Flour
- 1/2 Cup Sugar
- 1 teaspoon Baking Powder
- 1 teaspoon Baking Soda
- 1 teaspoon Salt
- 1 teaspoon Cinnamon
- 1 1/2 Cups Wheat Bran
- 1 1/2 Cups Seedless Raisins
- 1/4 Cup Softened Butter
- 1 1/2 Cups Hot Water
- 1 Egg or 2 Egg Whites
- 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
- 3/4 Cup Chopped Nuts
Instructions
- 375* oven.
- Combine Flour, Sugar, Baking powder, Baking Soda, Salt, and Cinnamon.
- In a separate bowl, combiene Wheat Bran, Raisins, Butter, and Hot Water.
- Mix until Butter melts.
- Beat in Egg and Vanilla Extract.
- Add the Dry Ingredients and Nuts. Stir until moistened.
- Spread Batter into greased 9 x 5 x 3 loaf pan.
- Bake 375* for 60 minutes.
- Let cool before slicing.
