Within just four years, Google managed to challenge the computer market and compete against major companies such as Microsoft and Apple with its “new kind of computer,” Chromebooks. These fast and powerful computers are getting cheaper by the day. Google has just introduced a new set of laptops for $140 and a Chrome OS dongle that less for under $100.

Dubbed Chromebit, the Chrome OS on a stick turns your TV into a computer. It’s actually quite similar to Intel’s Compute Stick and also smaller than a candy bar and brings the power of a full computer thanks to its Rockchip 3288 SoC processor, 2GB of RAM and 16GB of eMMC flash storage.

The all new Chromebooks from Hisense and Haier targets low-budget users with its $149 price. Both features 11-inch HD displays and long-lasting battery life of up to 10 hours.
