Scion is doing what every car company does for their 10th anniversary—releasing a free compilation of their favorite bands! It’s released under ScionAV, an enterprise of scion, “devoted to the discovery, nurture, funding and distribution of compelling music and arts programming”. Chromatics lend this song, “Red Car” to the compilation, it features heavily autotuned vocals and a beat that sounds kind of industrial, or at least more so than their usual Italo Disco dance beats. In addition to the Chromatics, the compilation also features Jonwayne, the Melvins and White Hills. Who needs record labels when you’ve got car companies?
