Chris Brown is going to trial for the DC assault case because he turned down his plea deal. According to the AP, prosecutors offered Brown a deal to plead guilty to simple assault and time served in his Washington assault case. But despite negotiations, defense lawyers and prosecutors weren’t able to agree on what happened outside the W hotel. His trial is scheduled for September 8th.
