DPRK state media reported on 12 November (Tuesday) that VMar Choe Ryong Have, Director of the Korean People’s Army [KPA] General Political Department, visited the construction of employees’ dormitories at Kim Jong Suk Pyongyang Textile Mill.  According to KCNA Choe “encouraged the soldier-builders to fully demonstrate the might of the revolutionary army, while looking round various places of the construction site” and “called on them to complete the construction in a short period under the slogan of ‘Let Us Help the People’, true to the plan of the Supreme Commander.”  He also “pressed for measures to make well-planned preparations to push forward the construction in coming winter season and fully provide facilities and equipment needed for the construction.”  The dormitory construction was linked by KCNA to the Masikryo’ng Speed Campaign in which “soldier-builders are bringing about innovations in the construction in the “speed on Masik Pass”, true to the noble intention of Kim Jong Un (Kim Cho’ng-u’n), who showed great love for the workers of the mill during his field guidance.”
