What Does Chocolate Orchid Fragrance Oil Smell Like?
This fragrance oil by Natures Garden is reminiscent of true chocolate orchids, which smell like a fresh floral with undertones of real chocolate.
Top Notes: lemon, orange, bergamot, lime
Mid Notes: raspberry, peach, jasmine, orchid
Base Notes: chocolate, vanilla, patchouli, amber
How Do Our Customers Use Chocolate Orchid Fragrance Oil?
For all of our soap making friends, aromatic bath and body products can be created using our chocolate orchid fragrance. Bath gels and lotions will be amazing with a maximum recommended of 5% fragrance oil added. Homemade soapers can make beautiful soaps with this fragrance oil. Our cold process soap testing results showed it to have a perfect pour, no acceleration, no ricing, no separation, discolors to a chocolate, and has a strong scent retention. Since the vanillin content is 8.75%, adding vanilla white stabilizer may counteract the discoloration. Keep in mind though, there are more than forty ingredients that are used in fragrance oil manufacturing that may contribute to discoloration of bath and body products. When coloring your soap, we recommend using both purple and red soap colorant to achieve the shade you are looking for. You should never use candle dye in any body products, they will stain your skin.
Chocolate orchid fragrance oil is perfect for the use of homemade room scenting and candle crafts. Oil burners, incense, potpourri and reed diffusers are all examples of room scenting projects that can use no more than 50% of fragrance. This fragrance oil also performs perfectly aroma bead air fresheners. Candles can be created using vegetable waxes or paraffin wax. The maximum recommended fragrance use for homemade candles is 10%. Natures Garden’s chocolate orchid fragrance oil performs perfectly in wow wax, soy wax, and joy wax. Also, the scent is nice and strong in soy wax. We suggest that you use 2 drops of purple plus a tiny bit of red liquid candle dye per 4 pounds of wax or shred a small amount of purple and red color block into your melted wax to color your candles and wax tarts. Never use crayons to color your candles as they will clog your wick.
