You can call either as chocolate cheesecake mousse or chocolate mousse cheesecake and the recipe i inspired from many sites and i presented here with individual servings.You can make it like me as individual servings or as in pie dish like round cheesecake or like banoffee pie.I want to make it as individual servings as it is loaded with calories and i made 3 individual servings.you can find both the recipes of chocolate mousse and cheesecake base which i already shared here and the cheesecake base does not need any setting agents as it needs only condensed milk and homemade cream cheese.
for cheesecake base - whisk the cream cheese and then blend with condensed milk.
for chocolate sauce - melt chocolate chips,butter and cream or simply melt cream with chocolate chips
this is really a decadent chocolate treat in which every recipe is in my blog.In this recipe you need just assembling of the recipe here and you have to prepare every single layer once the previous layer set perfectly.But this is not time consuming,it will take an hour to complete.You can alter the layer too but the top and bottom most layer will be same in all individual serving.
If you are in last minute preparation,now the ready mix for the mousse and cheesecake are available in stores.Bought it and whip it and assemble.If you are making from scratch ,wait till the cream cheese came to room temperature and whisk it to remove the large chunks of it and then blend it with condensed milk.
You can guess how much am obsessed with dessert recipes nowadays and these are so fun to make and also so easy one to assemble and am feeling relaxed once i start to make these kinda individual desserts.
chocolate cheesecake mousse recipe
decadent chocolate dessert made with layers of mousse,cheesecake and finally chocolate sauce
Ingredients
- chocolate mousse - 1 cup
- cheesecake base - 1 cup
- chocolate chips - as needed
- biscuit base - powdered digestive biscuits + melted butter
- chocolate sauce - chocolate + cream + butter
- Milk chocolate bar - for topping(optional)
- Make your chocolate mousse and cheesecake base and keep it ready to assemble it.
- Melt the butter and add it to the powdered digestive biscuits.Make like a crumble and there you can able to make a shape with that.That is the consistency of the base.
- Place 2 teaspoons on each glass(use either shot glass or normal glass for the recipe) and press it gently.Set this for 10 minutes in refrigerator or immediately proceed the assembling.
- Now to the cheesecake base add the chocolate chips and fold it well.
- Now fill the cheesecake layer or mousse layer first and then set it for 15 minutes.Then spoon the next layer using a piping bag or fill it gently without disturbing the previous layer.
- Now set this for another 15 minutes to set it completely.
- Now for the chocolate sauce,melt butter cream and chocolate in a double boiler and make a thick creamy sauce from it.
- Cool the sauce for few minutes and then pour it as the final layer.Refrigerate for another 30 minutes and then serve.
- top it with chocolate chunks and serve.
