A few hours after the US Speaker Nancy Pelosi spoke in the Taiwan Parliament, China Wednesday called on American envoys in Beijing to submit strong protests. He warned that Washington would “pay the price” for “mistakes” and ask him to stop using Taiwan’s problem to hold China in any form.

Meanwhile, Pelosi said in a press meeting in Taipei that the US supported the status quo, but did not want anything to happen to Taiwan forcibly. “We want Taiwan to always have freedom with security, we do not withdraw from that,” he said. Previously, speaking at an event with Taiwan President Tsai Ing-Wen, Pelosi said: “Now, more than before, American solidarity with Taiwan is very important, that’s the message we brought today.”

After weeks of uncertainty, the pelSi flew to Taiwan with Tuesday’s Air Force passenger jet, becoming the highest American official in 25 years to visit the island that was governed by itself. China announced military maneuvers as retaliation, where the Taiwan military answered that he had the ability to maintain national security. The pelSi visit increased tension between China and the United States because China claimed Taiwan as part of its territory, and viewed a visit by foreign government officials as a recognition of the sovereignty of the island.

EU has an interest in maintaining peace and status quo in the Taiwan Strait,” said a spokesman for the 27-State Block. “We encourage the peaceful resolution of cross-selat problems. Tensions must be resolved through dialog. The right communication channel must be maintained to reduce the risk of calculation errors.”

The European Commission said that the European Union had “a clear policy of one China”, recognizing the Government of the People’s Republic of China as the only government of Chinese law while also pursuing “friendly relations and close cooperation with Taiwan”

China on Wednesday suspended natural sand exports to Taiwan and stopped importing fruit and fish products from the island that was governed by the representative of the US Representative Council Nancy Pelosi visited Taiwan on a journey condemned by Beijing. The following is a list of items that have been prohibited.
