Chimurenga Renaissance is a side project of Baba Maraire – he would be one-half of the avant hip-hop duo Shabazz Palaces – and they have released the single “The B.A.D. Is So Good” leading up to the release of their full-length riZe vadZimu riZe. Super dense sounds swirl around Maraire’s vocals to create a track that has elements from all genres of music, yet sounds like something totally new.
