Chill & Chat at Mrs Fields Cafe - SM Makati

There are times when I simply wanted to hang and chill out. Okay, maybe most of the time, but can you blame me? I love going to cafés. I like how peaceful and comfortable it makes me feel while having a nice coffee and perhaps, a cookie. Whenever I hear Mrs. Fields, the only thing that comes to my mind are cookies, lots of cookies. Well, not anymore, because they now have a Cookie Café! 
Mrs. Fields’ new Cookie Café is located on the 2nd floor, SM Makati. It has a new concept that will surely catch the attention of everyone – cookie lover or not. With all the cupcake, cookie, cake, specialty stores spreading around the metro, it’s no wonder Mrs. Fields decided to do the trend as well. They wanted us to know that Mrs. Fields is not just cookies, because they now have something new to offer. This new Café of Mrs. Fields have a new feel in it. Goodbye plain old red and white, and say hello to this garden-themed café! Cookies are my comfort food. It is something that I constantly crave for. And it was a perfect timing when I visited this new branch of Mrs. Fields. Now, let me share what I had to satisfy my sweet tooth.

With all of that, I have two favorites. First is the Waffles; it actually comes with a meal: a cookie of your choice and potato chips to balance the flavor. They will serve it in a baking pan, which is really cute and creative! The second one is the Bacon Cookie, because come on, who doesn’t love bacon, right? And to put it with a cookie? I didn’t really expect it to be that good! Actually, it tastes like a toasted bacon sandwich, if you’ll ask me.
I would also recommend that you try their Breezer, especially the Cookie Crumble! It is not your usual smoothie, but a thick-ice-cream-like blended drink with real Mrs. Fields cookies. Perfect to match with a Garden Pesto Panini. Trust me.
