On Wednesday, Chile’s Calbuco volcano erupted for the first time in 42 years. All the volcanic lightnings and the dance of lava put on one heck of a show. It looked almost as if it was something out of a sci-fi movie.
Around 1,500 people who lived in a small city near by had to evacuate as a precaution. Clearly it’s a terrifying experience for those people, but boy was a sight to see.
