Verdict on Children of the Pines

Children of the Pines is a horror thriller following a college junior who looks to rebuild the bridges with her estranged parents. However, once she returns, she learns of a much darker reason for them coming back together.

This movie takes us down a path which looks like a rebuilding a family with problems. However, it takes a turn you would imagine and leaves us shocked at what is presented. It uses this for additional shock value and leaves us walking down a disturbing path. This brings additional horror to the movie, which leaves everyone wondering what would happen in the same position and what could have happened to others involved.
