According to UNICEF’s statistics on world education, gross enrollment ratio in pre primary school participation is 53% in men and 54% in women. This suggests almost half the population of the world does not enroll for education in the primary stage itself. These statistics are alarming owing to the importance of education of children.

Education is a very important part of childhood because it shapes the overall personality, skills and talents of children also imparting basic knowledge and information for survival in this world. Lacking of such education will directly or indirectly lead to unemployment and poverty. To curb problems like poverty, unemployment etc. strict measures are to be taken to increase the rate of literacy ratio in world population.

This responsibility of educating children in developed, developing and under-developed countries has always been the bone of contention in many UN and UNICEF meetings. Countries should focus on eliminating poverty and inequality by providing equal educational facilities. Though measures are being taken, there are not many countries which abide by these responsibilities fully.

Countries like UK have established Child support agencies which offer help to single parents, or parents with difficulty in educating their child. If you are a citizen of UK, it would be beneficial to always have the csa phone number child support agency on your phone. You can always help your friends, family members or any acquaintances who have difficulty in educating their children.

Education in developing and under-developed countries should be mostly focused on because in these countries, economic growth and development requires a lot of effort from its citizens. Governments of such countries should set up schools with favorable study environment for children to learn, study and grow. Countries like these have a very significant rate of dropouts from school owing to the very low per capita income of the citizens.

Education system, on a whole should be improved and modified. Improvised syllabus in a stress-free environment will help and motivate the child to learn. Children should have the freedom to choose their favorite discipline and focus on their interest, talents and skills. Education should help them improve their natural abilities also providing them basic life skills.

Education helps in providing job opportunities, improves confidence, increase self-esteem and brings in social awareness. Hence, education should be given the top most priority in all countries alike. In the words of Aristotle, “The educated differ from the uneducated as much as the living differ from the dead.”
