Chicago Comic and Entertainment Expo 2015

The most wonderful time of the year returned to Chicago this past weekend, The Chicago Comic and Entertainment Expo. This smaller convention started back in 2010 and it is the one convention I attend every year. A community of nerds, geeks, amazing cosplayers and generally cool people makes for one of the most inviting and accepting places on earth, well at least within the Chicagoland area. Guests included several faces from TV and movies like Ming-Na Wen, Hayley Atwell and Jason Momoa, as well as comic greats like Stan Lee and Scott Snyder. But honestly the best part of this con was the talented group of cosplayers who come out to show us mastery in prop making, costuming and overall artistry in geek expression. This was my first year actually attempting cosplay and it made for a completely different experience and it made me respect all those cosplayers who work so hard all year, so enjoy some of those who brought the awesome of cosplay to C2E2 2015.
