Chetinad Kozhi Milaga Varuval
A rich and tasty roasted chicken with blended flavor of cumin, red chilly, turmeric.Ingredients: Chicken- 500 g Sesame oil- 100 ml Bay Leaf- 1 Cinnamon- 1 inch stick Fennel- 1 tsp Red Chilly- 6 + 10 Ginger garlic paste- 1 tbsp Turmeric- 1 tsp + 1 tsp Salt as per taste Curry Leaves- few
Method:
Heat oil in a pressure pan, add turmeric, curry leaves, cinnamon, bay leaf, fennel. Fry for a minute and add chopped onion. Add salt and saute till onion turns golden brown.
Grind red chilly, turmeric, cumin to a fine powder.
Add chicken and stir to coat the masala evenly.
Pressure cook for 3 whistles.
Remove from pan and serve hot with rice and simple sardine fish curry.
