With the holidays upon us, and the year quickly coming to an end, I’m finding myself craving a little break and/or a fun getaway. Maybe it was the insane year of work – both the hubs and I took on pretty high workloads this year, or the whirlwind of activity (wedding planning, owning a business, career changes), but whatever it was its caused a pretty sizable case of burnout. Enter The Saguaro in Palm Springs, CA. Designed by Peter Stamberg and Paul Aferiat, this colorful oasis in the middle of the desert is just what the doctor ordered. A photo op awaits in pretty much every corner, and the bright color scheme can’t help but to brighten anyone’s spirits. One of these days when I’m ready to pack my bags for a weekend getaway, this desert gem will be at the top of my list.
