Verdict on Cheat

Cheat is a thriller following a woman who gets caught up in an affair. However, her husband tries to make amends, and her fling is becoming more obsessive. To make matters worse they get targeted by someone who wants something from them.

This movie follows us through one woman’s affair and the troubles she faces because of it. She isn’t sure about her marriage or the man she starts having an affair with. It creates an uneasy environment as the husband is a loose cannon and the fling is obsessive. This makes the tension the film requires and offers the mystery in which things could unfold. However, it doesn’t push everything to the limits it wants to present and feels like the first couple of rounds of twisted games by the people involved.
