Chatillon Car Cemetery Or a Traffic Jam of 500 Cars Since Many Decades. A Story Will Raise Many Questions.

Chatillon Car Cemetery in Belgium gives an eerie and strange ambiance, when one enters the woods ,we see vintage cars abandoned. It feels as if someone has painted the cars in the colours of nature. The cars were being shifted from there , so few photographers went there and captured some fascinating pictures . 

There are many legend stories which are being believed which makes the Cemetry all the more intriguing .

In world war 2, American soldiers were stationed at Belgium and they figured out that there is no way they can take the cars back .


It is believed that American soldiers left the vehicles after world war 2 ended. The initial thought was to come back and take the vehicles and Chatillon forests gave best cover to hide the motors

Some of the localities believe that cemetery has cars belonging to 50s or 60s and the cars were left dumped there .


Haunted vibes surrounding the cemetery made it the one of the privileged tourist spots.

Chatillion is located in south Belgium and the locals deny the world war story and tell that it was just like a regular junk yard .According to them, there was no connection to world war and cemetery.


Nevertheless, it makes an intriguing story if this place served as the place where soldiers left happily after the war ended .

Cars have been rotting there and some of the cars have been removed because of environmental reasons.
