When it comes to designers with influence in the 20th century, Charles Eames was your man. And his unmistakable DSW chair was his piece de resistance. The undeniably simple construct was quite unlike anything else on the market at the time when Eames released it back in 1948 and the DSW chair was, in fact, the first industrially manufactured plastic chair.
