CHAPPO may seem familiar even if you think you’ve never heard them — perhaps from their Apple commercial cameo in the recent past — but their live show is anything but predictable. The psychedelic-garage indie hybrid played an active, incredible set complete with synth accents, amazing theatrics and dance-worthy melodies. If you listen closely, you can hear warm Louisiana weight to the poetic words from lead singer, Alex. A cross between old school Kings of Leon and Portugal. The Man, CHAPPO had people singing along all night.
