Chairlift (@chairlifted) initially captured everyone’s attention when their song “Bruises” was featured in an iPod Nano commercial, leaving the undeniably catchy sounds stuck in our heads for weeks. Though they haven’t released anything since 2008′s Does You Inspire You, Chairlift has reemerged as a duo with new synth-pop tunes that are as vibrant and charismatic as ever. The band’s newest album, Something, is set to be released on January 24th, and after listening to three of their new tracks  (“Amanemonesia”, “Sidewalk Safari”, & “Met Before”), I can’t wait to hear more. Fortunately, Chairlift is streaming an exclusive live performance from NYC’s Knitting Factory on December 12th at 8:30PM. Just click here that evening to tune and check out what 2012 has in store for all of us.
