Itinerary
Day 01: Delhi – Leh (Complete Rest in Leh for Acclimatization)
Day one starts with your arrival At Leh and on your advent you will meet with your travel representative and then you will walk back to your hotel for a complete rest. During the time of evening you can either choose to stay or can walk outside to view the potency of surroundings.
Day 02: Leh – Shey – Thiksey - Hemis
Day 02 starts with a local sightseeing and the very fine moment of your life would rotate around the divine ambience of Shey Gompa which is located at a distance of around 15 km from Leh. During this session traveler would have an opportunity to witness the Stupas and Gompas which indeed defines the chore of Buddhism. After your visit at Shey Gompa traveler can walk into the site of Thiksey Gompa which is located at a distance of around 17 km from Leh. Another attraction which is about 45 km away from Leh is Hemis monastery where trekkers would feel the bliss of solitary. After your long drawn visit within the surroundings of Leh traveler would fall back to their respective guest house to take rest for a day.
Day 03: Leh - Chilling (5 Hrs Drives)
Day 03 starts with a quick breakfast and after that you will travel the distance of Chilling from Leh which is located at a distance of around 55 km and it would take approximately 5 hours to reach here. Your advent would start from Pishu Village of Zanskar and then would bend towards the valley of Chilling where you would stay for a night to end your Day 03 session.
Day 04: Chilling - Zaribago
Day 04 starts with the gentle walk over frozen Zanskar River and from here you would walk the distance of Chilling to reach Zaribagao. To complete the journey traveler would require walking for 5 hours and after their arrival they would call of their day by setting their camp at Zaribago.
Day 05: Zaribago - Deepyokma
Day 05 starts with the trekking towards Deepyokma from Zaribago which would take approximately 4 hours to complete the entire distance of 4 to 5 km. the trekking trail again starts with your feet over the frozen Zanskar River and trekkers should always stay cautious while crossing the frozen lake.
Day 06: Deepyokma – Nyrakpulu
Day 06 starts with an early breakfast and after that trekkers would cover the distance of 4 to 5 km to reach Nyarakpulu from Deepyokma. Traveler must understand that it would take around 5 hours to complete the entire journey and after your arrival here you can call of your day by taking a rest at your camp.
Day 07: Nyarakpulu – Lingshed
Day 07 starts with a one hour trek from Nyarakpulu till you reach the site Lingshed village where traveler would have an opportunity to enjoy the cozy ambience of the surroundings. The quaint hamlet of Lingshed is perfected by the divinity of the nearby monasteries where traveler can take a walk to revere the same.
Day 08: Lingshed – Nyarakpulu
Day 08 covers the distance of Nyarakpulu which is located at a stretch of around 5 to 6 km and it would require continuous trekking for 5 hours to reach the site of Nyarakpulu where you can call of your day for better tomorrow.
Day 09: Nyarakpulu - Tso Mopoaldar
Day 09 starts with an early breakfast and then you would travel the distance of Tso Mopoaldar and from here again 5 hours of trekking towards Tilatdo would complete your journey for a day.
Day 10: Tilatdo - Chilling – Leh
Day 10 marks an end of your trekking vacation because after an early breakfast traveler would ride the distance of Leh by car and after reaching here they can either choose to stay an overnight or can walk the distance of their respective destination by boarding different means of transportation.
